The "Pork Tapeworm", or Taenia solium, is an intestinal parasite that is a lot more common in places where large amounts of pork are eaten. Tapeworms cannot move on their own so they rely on other organisms to do these actions for them. The pork tapeworm is transmitted from pigs to humans through undercooked pork. The tapeworm then uses its rostellum (armed with hooks) and suckers to attach to the small intestine. They eat our digested food and can cause loss of appetite and malnutrition.
