Sea Anemone are predatory and as you can tell from their name, they live in bodies of water. They are related to both jellyfish and coral. It is a type of polyp that is attached to a surface in the water. They are very small, often less than one inch in diameter. The largest ones are only about 1 ½ inches wide. However, they can be up to 6 feet tall.
The Cardiovascular System of Sea AnemonesSea Anemones and Coral do not have a true circulatory system. Their stomachs serve as their "circulatory system" because it’s a gastrovascular system. They also are given better circulation through the many species of fish that live symbiotically with the coral and sea anemone.
